1.
What is TelSearch.com?
TelSearch.com is a powerful tool used to generate
Consumer Telemarketing and Direct Mailing Lists
within the United States. In seconds, TelSearch
allows you to target any US Geographic region
while giving you the option to break down the
lists even further by including the Demographic
Criteria of your choice.
2. What are the benefits
of using the TelSearch.com?
If you have not already performed and ordered
a list search on TelSearch, you will have a hard
time believing the results when you do.
In seconds, you will be able to sort through
our database of nearly 100 million records and
narrow it down to the geographics and demographics
of your choice. After this extremely simple search
process, you will immediately see the Number of
Records that match your search along with our
Price Quote. With rates starting at 1/20 of a
penny per record, you will be amazed at how low
your Price Quote will be and you will wonder how
we keep our prices so low.
3. How does the ordering
process work?
You will be issued an order number when you have
finished placing your order, which you will want
to keep for your records. Once your credit card
information has been processed and we have sent
you a notification email, your custom list will
be created. Once your order is shipped, you will
be emailed a UPS tracking number.
If you choose to pay by Money Order / Cashier's
Check, once your payment is received, the order
will be processed immediately.
4. When do I get my list?
If your order is placed before 1:00 PM on business
day, your order will be shipped that same day.
Depending on your location and the method of shipping
you choose, your order can arrive as early as
10:30 AM the very next business day. For UPS Ground
orders, it generally takes around 2 - 4 business
days.
5. What will my list
look like?
The list we send you will be placed on a CD-ROM,
in ASCII text format. Every Database program produced
enables you to convert Text files into their respective
formats. In addition to the ASCII text file, we
will include simple instructions on how to convert
Text files into Excel, Access, Lotus, FoxPro,
and Act formats. Here is a sample of a record
in ASCII text format:
"Abel Lynn & Justin","66 Pennsylvania
Ave","Delaware","OH","43015","740-555-2200"
6. What is the accuracy
rate of my list?
Through our own testing and the response from
our clients, we have determined that the accuracy
rate of the information in our lists is between
90% and 95%. 98% of the phone numbers in our list
are valid phone numbers.
7. What computer software
is required to use the data TelSearch sends me?
Depending on what you will be using the list data
for, there are several software packages that
can be used. Microsoft Word enables you to import
the data directly into a Mailing List. Microsoft
Acces, FoxPro, Lotus, Microsoft Excel, and other
database pacakges can be used to import the data
we send you into any application that may need
to use. If you just wish to use the data we send
you as is, Notepad, Wordpad, or any other text
editting software can be used.
8. How do I customize
a list?
STEP 1:
Identify the geographic region that you would
like to target. The following are the available
geographic targets as well as some guidelines
for selecting:
STATE - Select this option if you want
to target consumers from a particular state
(e.g., anyone who lives in the state of New
Jersey).
ENTIRE UNITED STATES - Select this option
if you want to target consumer through the United
States
ZIP CODE - Select this option if you
want to target consumers who share a particular
zip code (e.g.,anyone with 07747 as their zip
code). You can enter mutiple zip codes by placing
a comma between zip codes
STEP 2:
Select the criteria category(ies) that you wish
to include in your search. By clicking on the
question mark (?) next to each criteria name you
will be able to view a detailed description of
just what that demographic criteria is. If your
search is in the ENTIRE US, you MUST select at
least one demographic criteria.
STEP 3:
Choose the ranges for the criteria that you selected
in STEP 2. For example, if you choose "Median
Purchase Cost of Homes," the range that you
specify (i.e. $100,000 and $250,000) will tell
us that you wish to only receive a list where
the median cost of a home in the areas you specified
are between $100,000 and $250,000 dollars. This
will allow you to target the appropriate consumers.
9. How does this demographic
criteria search work?
TelSearch has gathered a great deal of information
about every zip code in the United States. Since
zip code is the primary key in determining demographic
information about an area, by searching through
this information we can determine which zip codes
are the most relevant to your campaign. For example,
if you want to target areas in order to promote
a Vocational School, you would probably want to
target areas that have a low high-school graduation
rate. Or if you are a mortgage refinancing company
you would probably want to target areas that have
a high "Percent of Homes Owned vs Rented"
and a "Median Purchase Cost of Home."
The possibilities are endless.
NOTE: Due to the fact that our search
is based on Zip Code, not all records that you
receive will match the demographic criteria that
you have selected. The records that we send you
are part of a zip code that matches the demograhic
criteria that you have selected.
10. What do I do if the
number of matching records is too low?
If your list count is lower than you expected,
you may want to expand your geography and/or broaden
your list criteria. For example, suppose you plan
to target married couples with middle incomes
in the New York market, defined by zip codes in
that area. One option is to add neighboring zip
codes. Another option is to change the geographic
select to be the entire New York state. If you
prefer to broaden your list criteria, you could
include additional income levels to increase your
available count.
11. What do I do if the
number of matching records is too high?
If your list count is higher than expected, you
want to decrease the size of your selected geographic
region and/or narrow you list criteria. If you
are choosing by states or zip codes, you might
want to remove any extraneous ones. Your best
bet however, is to add an additional demographic
criteria. This will also help you to make your
list more specific.
12. How much does a list
cost?
The more records that you order, the cheaper each
record becomes. Also, the more records you order,
the price per criteria per record also decreases.
